Music: Georgia Returns for Spring Concert Performance

Georgia Mae-Ellis

The tradition at Bede's is that most former pupils tend to 'boomerang' (i.e come back) and offer their talents in the fields of Sport, Music, Drama or, indeed, teaching.

Last week, Georgia-Mae Ellis (who has just won a place at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester) returned to her Alma Mater, Bede's Prep School, and sang a duet from Bizet's colourful opera Carmen with current pupils singing and acting alongside.

Clearly, Georgia will be a talent to watch in the coming years: her poise and commitment to her art will surely be an example to all young musicians and will inspire others to go on to great things.
