Growing in Independence

At Bede’s we give our children endless opportunities to access activities that encourage independence. From putting their bags on their pegs and placing ‘home’ toys in their tray to washing their hands and pouring drinks at snack time.

We are always extremely proud of our pupils when they achieve a milestone and celebrate these with our other pupils and parents.

This week, we were really proud of a member of our Jellyfish room who put her jumper on all by herself. The smile on her face when she successfully pulled her arms through and shuffled it down to her waist was delightful. Spurred on by her success, she did not stop there and, during snack time, she carefully pealed her own orange too. Well done!
