Running Through The Leaves Of Autumn

As we start to all dig out our winter coats ready for the early morning Nursery run, our Jellyfish pupils have been immersing themselves in the season of Autumn.

With crispy leaves a plenty, they have been making some beautiful hedgehog inspired collages and exploring all the different coloured leaves in the garden. Our groundsman has certainly had his work cut out too as all the leaves fall from the trees!

During circle times, discussions have been led to the clothes which keep us warm and they have all enjoyed putting their coats on before venturing outside. It wont be long before hats, scarfs and gloves will be making an appearance too.

Their new pupil, Mr Scarecrow, has settled into the Nursery and really enjoys playing with all the messy paints with his new friends. The pupils in the Jellyfish room loved helping fill him with straw, making sure he was all set for his first day in class in a smart Bede’s jumper too.

What a fantastic transition into Autumn for our toddlers.
