Our Catering Team
Good quality, nutritious and tasty food is an essential part of school life for both the morale and health of any child.
The catering team at Bede's Prep School are well aware of what is required to provide a well balanced menu. With the school day starting at 7.30 am and not finishing until some 12 hours later, the team includes three chefs and up to 14 full and part time catering assistants.
We not only provide three meals per day but also cater for morning biscuit break and the hugely popular afternoon Buns Break, the snacks served at which are all prepared on site and are served in our dining room, which boasts stunning sea views.
Wherever possible fresh, local products is used for all meals, and the team takes great pride in the fact that all meals are homemade and prepared on the day of service.
We cater for special diets, especially gluten and dairy free diets, and with a homemade vegetarian meal available at every meal time the team believe all that the diets of all of our pupils are looked after.
