Yoga Activity runs twice a week for Years 5 and 6 and once a week for Years 7 and 8, and in the long term the hope is to expand this provision.

Predominantly, the activity sees the children learn Asanas (postures) using traditional methods and through games, and about to practise peace in their thoughts and actions, showing respect to themselves and to others.

In addition to the obvious physical benefits there are educational benefits too, such as improved attention, self-confidence and a reduction in stress.

Beyond that, the activity is a whole lot of fun, and beginners are more than welcome!
