Peripatetic Music Lessons
Individual Music Lessons are available to each and every pupil at Bede's.
Learning to play an instrument is an important part of arts' education at Bede's. The class music lessons at Bede's provide opportunities to play instruments such as classroom percussion, keyboards, recorders and ukuleles. We also offer the chance to learn a range of standard orchestral instruments, piano, drums and all styles of singing including:
- classical guitar
- electric guitar
- drum kit
- contemporary vocals with backing tracks
We also offer the chance for children in Years 2 and 3 to have half a term of violin or cello lessons in a group for free, and there are also free woodwind lessons available.
There are lots of opportunities at Bede's to play in ensembles such as orchestra, jazz band, junior wind band and string group - so why not take up an instrument and join in the fun!
To book a taster lesson on any instrument please email the Prep School Director of Music, Alex Farley, on firstname.lastname@example.org
“ Music is a fundamental part of my life, and I want it to become the beating heart of Bede’s Prep. As Plato says, ‘Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything’ ”
