Drama: Scholar's Monologue Evening 2013
At Bede's Prep School, as part of their scholarship auditions Drama Scholars have to perform a short monologue of their own choice.
The monologue evening gives them the opportunity to show their speeches to an audience, as part of their preparation.
This year, the monologues were varied in style and period and ranged from Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird to Malory Blackman's Nought and Crosses.
The pupils performed with poise and confidence and this was a valuable experience for them. Five of them were successful in winning scholarships to their senior schools.
