History: Year 8 Trip to The Tower of London
The Year 8 trip to the Tower of London on Tuesday 1 October meant a very early start, but a surprisingly cheerful Year 8 arrived on time for a guided tour about Tudor Religion from one of the costumed staff at the Tower.
Such an early start meant that we arrived at the Tower just as it opened, so we were able to visit the many different exhibits at the Tower before it became too crowded.
For Year 8, who are busily studying the Tudor dynasty, this was a fantastic opportunity to really get to grips with what Tudor England was like.
The children also received a guided tour on Tudor Religion from one of the costumed staff at the Tower.
Not surprisingly, their favourite Top Three exhibits were the Crown Jewels, the Torture Chamber and the site where Anne Boleyn lost her head!
