Riding: Imogen and Riley Excel at NSEA Grassroots Show

Congratulations to Imogen Carr and Riley Wooten, two Bede's Prep School riders who both had great success on Saturday and brought home many colourful rosettes on behalf of the school.

The National Schools Equestrian Association Grassroots show jumping competition, which took place on Satuday 16th  January, saw Imogen and Riley placing as follows:

Imogen Carr

1st place in the 50cm individual

1st place in the ride, park and run fun class (ride your pony around a 45/50cm course, park it with a handler then run around a shortened course of jumps)

4th place in the 70cm Intro class

2nd place in the 60cm individual

2nd place in the 70cm Intro class (this is a simpler course used as an introduction to the slightly more technical and more substantial 70cm Regional Points League class)

7th place in the 70cm Regional Points League class

Jenny Warren, Head of Equestrian at Bede's, said of the girls' accomplishments, "Both Imogen and Riley should be extremely proud of their achievements. They did brilliantly and are showing exceptional improvement week on week."
