Swimming: Bede's Pupils Excel at IAPS Regional Finals

Swimming: Bede's Pupils Excel at IAPS Regional Finals

On February 6th, 24 swimmers represented Bede's Prep School in the Regional Round of the IAPS Swimming Championships at the Sovereign Centre.

The standard of swimming was very high but our Swim Squad rose to the challenge and produced some fantastic swimming.

Bede's dominated the Butterfly events with Themba Wardle, Jasmine Cecil, Chase Sutherland and Reubin Hart winning their respective age groups.

1st places were also secured by Amelia Doxey and Phoebe King in Breaststroke, Elsa Brown in Backstroke and Toby Sammarco in Front Crawl.

Everyone swam well in both the Medley and Freestyle Relays but congratulations must go to the U12 Boys team who won their Medley Relay by a clear margin.

Well done to everyone who swam, all the hard work and training really paid off.
