Athletics: Bedians Earn 12 Golds, 11 Silvers At Cumnor House Meet

Gold medal winner M. Kulin during the 100m sprint.

Our Year 6 and Year 8 athletes were in confident mood at the Lewes track on Friday 15 May, having performed well a week earlier in our triangular against Brighton College and St Andrew's at Eastbourne's Sports Park.

The meet at Lewes, hosted by Cumnor House, is an even greater test for our athletes, with the best runners, jumpers and throwers from Cumnor themselves, Holmewood House, Windlesham House, Westbourne House, and Brighton College all taking part.

These are all strong athletics schools and success at these events is usually a good indicator of how well a school might be looking to do at The Regionals at Crawley after half term.

It is therefore with great joy that I say well done to the twelve Gold Medal winners and congratulations also to the eleven children who earned themselves Silvers during a day of extremely competitive events.
