Bede's Prep Raises Funds For New CT Scanner

On Thursday 23 February, Bede's Prep School pupils Isla Salamon and Tom Lloyd presented Dr Neil Barlow, Consultant Radiologist, and Harry Walmsley, Chairman of the Friends of Eastbourne Hospital, with a cheque for £590.63.

This money was raised from the retiring collection at the Prep School’s Carol Service, on Friday 15 December 2016.

The donation will go towards a new state of the art CT scanner.

Whilst at the hospital, Dr Barlow kindly showed the children the room for the new CT scanner along with explaining how a CT scanner works and the fascinating images it produces.

We have received an email of thanks on behalf of the Trustees to say how grateful they are to the Bede’s community for their support, so thank you to everyone who pitched in!
