Orchard Rooms

8 11 5

The Orchard Rooms are some of the first purpose-built classrooms that were constructed at Bede's, although these days they are fitted out with new heating systems and ICT and Smart Board technologies.

The rooms are built of a timber construction with felt roofs, all of which have been maintained and updated over the years.

The timber buildings being easy to customise, update and renovate, with the Bede's Estates team having converted many of the smaller "O" Rooms into larger spaces, improving the educational experience along the way.

During Summer 2015, O Rooms 8-12 were converted into a temporary home for Dicker Day House and O Rooms 6 and 7 have been coverted into one large classroom for the Maths department.
