Travelling to Bede's

Upper Dicker, the village in which Bede's is located, is 1 mile to the west of the A22, London to Eastbourne road, and 4 miles north of the A27.

By road, Eastbourne is 10 miles away, Lewes, Seaford and Uckfield are all 8 miles away and Hailsham is just 3 miles away.

By rail, journeys from Bede's to London Victoria station take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes and trains to Gatwick Airport take approximately 45 minutes.

If coming to us by rail, we recommend traveling to Polegate station, located approximately 10 minutes drive from the School, at which taxis are readily available.

We do not advise using Berwick station as, although nearer, it does not boast a Taxi rank.

By Channel Tunnel, the Ashford terminal is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes by road.

I have worked at Bede's long enough to see a full generation of young people pass through the School and emerge as capable, confident highly skilled people. It is an honour to work here.
