Bede's welcomes boys and girls able and eager to benefit from the unique character of the Bede's schools and the many opportunities the Trust offers for nurturing their academic and personal development.

Our aim is to be the school of choice for parents seeking an outstanding all-round education for their children. A school that maximises academic outcomes in relation to ability and that is the market leader in adding value and building on exisiting strengths of pastoral excellence. A school with a strong artistic tradition and outstanding sporting provision, augmented by a warm and caring community.

The main entry points to Bede's Senior School are at Year 9 (13+) and Year 12 (16+) entry, with a few places available for Year 10 entry.

Every pupil considering joining Bede's should first of all visit the School. This can be either an Open Morning or a private visit. Private visits consist of a tour of the School with one of our pupils and a meeting with a member of our Senior Management Team. Visits can be arrranged by contacting Maria Leigh, Visits Co-ordinator, at maria.leigh@bedes.org.

Children have only one chance of education and it is our role to support and stimulate by creating opportunities and guiding and encouraging them both in the classroom and through our Co-Curricular Programme. Our Admissions Process ensures that key staff have the essential information about a child to ensure that they are placed on the right academic courses, can access the sports and clubs they want to and benefit from outstanding pastoral care.
