At Bede's it is our goal to ensure that we educate the whole person, and because of this we give equal importance to Academic, Pastoral and Co-Curricular aspects of life.
This holistic approach to education is not just an add-on. It is our strong belief that learning takes place beyond the confines of the classroom, and with this in mind, we place creativity, service and action at the heart of the student experience.
Bede's students pick from a wide array of over 100 clubs and activities, guided by our fantastic Personal Tutors. These activities are targeted, rigorous and inclusive, and prepare our students to see life as an educational journey.
We do our best to ensure that every student at Bede's is able to pursue their talents via our specialist staff, unbeatable facilities and innovative timetable. Furthermore, we believe in giving back and try to imbue our students with this philosophy.
Through our House Charity system and our ground-breaking Community Links programme, we have Bede's students engaged in providing local residents with lessons in IT, teaching English, Art and Music at local primary schools, helping train teachers in Ghana and building houses in Uganda.
It is more than just about meeting needs for us - it is about excellence.
“ There is no better job in all the world than mine. I love working with young people and hearing their ideas, aspirations and questions about life in general. ”
