The Bede's Writers' Workshop, which convenes once a month, is a space for aspiring poets, novelists, playwrights and lyricists to develop their craft.
In these engaging sessions, students from the Fifth and Sixth Form year-groups explore the fundamentals of fiction through stimulating activities, as well as sharing their own writing in a workshop environment.
The group is open to all, but students must demonstrate a commitment to writing through ongoing work on their private portfolios and notebooks.
Dates of meetings are available in the school calendar.
“ It is through reading and writing that we discover who we are, or who we want to be. In each piece of writing, I want my pupils to have the chance to reinvent themselves. ”
