First Year Outdoor Pursuits Trip Update
The entire cohort of Bede's First Years are currently in the Peak District, enjoying activities from caving to search and rescue, and Mr Clark sent through some photos and an update this morning about how it's all going.
The first thing to note is that the weather has been great - especially for this time of year. Every day has been crammed full of activities, with the First Year's visibly growing in confidence as they experience new things and embrace new challenges.
The pupils have been caving, hiking, abseiling, canoeing, weaselling, problem solving and engaging in search and rescue exercises - and it's only Wednesday!
The First Years have been fantastic and are having a tremedous time. Dr. Maloney was also up for a visit yesterday and was impressed with how the students were coping with the challenging activities they have been experiencing.
There will be more news when we return, but for now it's simply hello from all of us and see you soon!
