Bede's student Fynn Hudson-Prentice was this weekend informed by the England management that he has been selected to join the 30 man England squad for the ICC U19 World Cup in Dubai in February.

In the last 5 years Bede's has had three students join the England U19 Cricket squad, including Luke Wells in 2008, Callum Jackson last year and now Fynn.

"It is unlikely that any other school in the Country and certainly not in Sussex has achieved this," said Bede's Director of Cricket and ex-England and Sussex cricketer Mr Alan Wells.

Bede's 1st XI were the No. 1 HMC Schools cricket team in the Country last season and came second in the English Schools T-20 tournament for the second year running.

"This is an unparalleled success for Bede's," said Headmaster Dr Richard Maloney.

Everyone at Bede's is extremely proud of Fynn. Well done!
