Charleston: Clothes Sought for St Wilfred's Hospice
In support of Charleston's House Charity, St Wilfrid's Hospice, we have organised a Clothes Collection which will ultimately form part of the charity Fashion Show that Crossways and Charleston are hosting on Friday 7th November.
The Hospice's purpose is 'reaching out to transform end of life care' in order to make the patients' time there as enjoyable and peaceful as possible.
The overall environment is warming and inviting which guarantees an enriching and supportive lifestyle in order to benefit the patients as much as possible. As the founder of the Hospice movement, Dame Cecily Saunders said, 'You matter because you are you. You matter to the last moment of your life'.

In order to for this to work we would like to encourage donations of any unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories, which we will be collecting over the coming weeks.
There are boxes in each of the houses and also one in the staff room. Following the fashion show, any clothes which are not sold will be donated directly to St Wilfrid's Charity shops.

Please do have a look in your cupboards for any old unwanted clothes that we can put towards raising vital funds for this worthwhile cause.
