Crossways: House Charity Week Raises Funds for Blind Veterans

Ray Hazan OBE, president of Blind Veterans UK, who spoke at assembly this week.

Crossways' House Charity Week began on Monday 3rd November, straight after half term.

The infamous Crossways Cookies!

Every girl played their part in what was a fantastic week, whether they were baking our famous Crossways Cookies or selling raffle tickets in their breaktimes, lunchtimes and evenings for our Fashion Show.

The week was very successful and we raised money through selling cookies and raffle tickets to all the houses and staff, our very fun (but tiring!) exercise class run by Mr Byrne and Mr Morriss on Wednesday lunchtime.

Mr Morriss putting everyone through their paces!

Crunch, crunch, crunch!

Our main event was the Fashion Show, co-hosted by Charleston House on Friday evening. The other Houses were very supportive and their donations are much appreciated.

The nicest part of the whole week for me was seeing how it brought the house together, as we all had one common cause - to raise money for charity!
