Sixth Form: Another Record Year of University Offers for Bede's Pupils

Three gifted and talented Bede's Upper Sixth students have received offers to read their favourite subjects at Oxbridge.

Abigail Burton has been made an offer of A*A*A to read Mathematics at St. Peter's College, Oxford, Student Hero Anna Moody has been made an offer of A*AA to read English at Trinity College, Cambridge and, more recently, fellow Student Hero Laura Adebisi has been made an offer of A*AA to fulfil her years long goal to read English at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.

All three scholars worked incredibly hard on their applications and they thoroughly deserve this level of success and recognition.

In addition to the above, Piers Nathan has secured an offer of AAA to read Politics and Philosophy at The London School of Economics (LSE) and there have been a number of offers to Bede's students from The University of Bath. These include Rebekah Canby, who secured an offer of A*AA to read Natural Sciences, Anthony Bracuti, whohas secured an offer of AAB to read Biochemistry with a placement year, Charles Hodgson, who has an offer of AAA to read Politics and Economics, and Joe Juran, who now has an offer of A*AA to read Physics and Mathematics.

Indeed, The University of Bath has proved to be a popular destination, with George Sillett being made an offer of AAA to read Computer Science, Nicholas Sistovaris being asked to secure AAA to read Economics and Politics, and Weichen Wang also securing an offer of A*AA to read Economics.

Impressively, Hal Potter now has an offer of A*AA to read Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics (MORSE) at The University of Warwick.

Finally, to end our snapshot, Zachary Law has secured an offer of BBB to read History at The University of Edinburgh, Ellie Nightingale has an offer of AAA to read Geography at Exeter and Matthew Street also has an offer of A*AA to read Mechanical Engineering at The University of Southampton.

There remain a number of Universities who are still to get back to our students and we hope to bring another update in due course.
