Crossways: Charity Zip-Wire Raises Funds for Blind Veterans

On Sunday the 4th October the girls of Crossways House participated in a charity Zip-Wire for Blind Veterans UK.

The city of Brighton saw 60 of us zip-wire down the charity's 150ft Ovingdean Facility.

There were many nervous faces as we all got kitted up, however there were no disappointed feelings by the time we left.

Throughout the day the girls showed great spirit and determination, though this may have been an effect of the young Royal Marines who happened to be running the event!

It was fortunately a delightfully sunny day, and the view from the top was breath-taking.

This was a new experience for many of us, and it encouraged many of the girls and I to conquer our fears and broaden our horizons as to what we can achieve.
