Drama: Max Earns Starring Role in EYT Production
Bede’s Drama Scholar, Deis House boy and First Year pupil Max Mason found out this week that he has won the part in the upcoming Royal Hippodrome Theatre youth production of Beauty and the Beast, which will be staged on Wednesday 17 February.
Max will be taking on the part of Le Fou in the production, a local villager who is Gaston’s hapless sometimes mistreated, sidekick.
Despite only having started at Bede’s in September, Max has already performed a solo at the black tie Cabaret event in November in front of 400 guests a moving rendition of ‘Where Is The Love’ from Oliver.

Max will also be performing at The Devonshire Park Theatre in the Bede’s Senior Production of Into The Woods which is taking place from 4–6 February and within which he will be starring in the role of Jack.
