Athletics: Bede’s Alumnus Seb Rodger Qualifies For Rio 2016


Congratulations to Bede’s alumnus and 400m hurdler Seb Rodger who was recently selected for next month’s Olympic Games in Rio.

British champion and Eastbourne resident Seb, now aged 25, achieved his qualifying time of 49.29sec in Belgium just one day before the Olympic qualification deadline.


Seb said of his selection, “I’m so happy and excited that I’m finally going to the Olympics! This is a dream come true. Thank you to my team, family, coach, physio, friends and sponsors for all of your continued support. You all play such a big part in this journey.”
