Bede’s Pupils Support Hailsham Foodbank with Collection

A Christmas collection of food and gifts organised by Bede’s pupils was delivered to Hailsham Foodbank on Tuesday 12 December 2017.

Pupils across houses and year groups participated in the collection, which amassed to more than six large boxes of donations.

The collection was organised by school prefects Ruby Moody, Sam Avery, Ben Barden and Adelaide Barden. They said: “It was wonderful to see the school community come together to support such a worthy cause. This initiative was started in line with our new prefect mantra, ‘With privilege comes responsibility’, and we hope to continue supporting Hailsham Foodbank with more collections throughout the school year.”
