Bede's Fest 2018 Brings the School Community Together

Earlier this month, Bede's welcomed in the new school year with a festival headlined by our talented pupils.

Hundreds of pupils, families and staff from across the Trust gathered at Bede's Senior School in Upper Dicker on Saturday 1 September for a sunny afternoon of pupil-led entertainment, and delicious food and drink courtesy of Holroyd Howe.

Many of the talented Senior School musicians took to the stage to perform well-known hits from a range of popular music styles, from rock and pop to soul and folk. The audience enjoyed fantastic renditions of 'I Know I'm Not The Only One', 'Say Something', 'Don't Look Back In Anger', 'Skinny Love', 'Yours' and many more.

Pupils also ran charity ice cream, cake and coffee stalls.

Bede's Fest is an annual event, which is fast becoming a must-attend date in the school calendar. It was wonderful to see new and established members of the Bede's community meet, have fun, and celebrate the start of a new school year.
