Bede's Welcome Back the England Lions Physically Disabled Squad

Bede's are pleased to welcome back the England Lions Physically Disabled squad for their monthly training camp.

This is the fourth camp this winter at Bede’s with the final camp at the end of March.

The camp forms an important part of the preparation ahead of an exciting summer where the England PD welcome four other international teams to compete in a World Series in early August.

In addition to this, Bede’s will be hosting a Cricket Disability Awareness Day on 4 May, with the highlight being a T20 match between the school and a select PD Cricket team.

James Kirtley, Cricket Coach at Bede’s and Head Coach of the PD Lions commented, “It is wonderful that we can use the fantastic facilities here at Bede’s. The players have an important summer ahead and some have a real opportunity to play a part in the World Series. It is so important that we can get the contact time with the players to give them every opportunity to reach their full potential.”
