Athletics at Bede's continues to get stronger, with pupils from all year groups competing in regional and national events.
Our expert provision gives developing athletes unprecedented access to the sport in a fun and enjoyable environment. We routinely send teams to the top meets throughout the season and continue to impress with performances and results alike.
Take a 360 degree look at our Running Track:
Bede's has become a force to be reckoned with on the regional Athletics circuit due to ever-increasing levels of pupil interest and the work of our many high performance coaches.
During the season, pupils travel off-site to Eastbourne Athletics Club three times a week to train, using the top track and field facilities with experienced coaches and throughout the year, Tony Morriss, Bede's Strength and Conditioning Coach, works alongside the pupils to focus upon individual discipline technique and performance.
We also have a number of pupils who enjoy Athletics at Bede's recreationally and who take advantage of our scenic Cross Country course which loops around our grounds and takes in several advantages of the idyllic Sussex Coast.
“ The facilities and coaches at Bede's make it an ideal place for a budding sportsperson. ”
