Bede's seeks to appoint an outstanding History teacher as a maternity cover for the academic year 2021-2022.
You will be enthusiastic and inspirational, determined to inspire young Historians and to help inculcate a very real love for the subject. We offer History at GCSE and A Level (where numbers have increased hugely in recent years) and Government & Politics at A Level. Depending on your interests, you could be teaching any or all of these courses.
The History Department is under the aegis of Mr James Whitaker, who is also the Head Of the Humanities Faculty. As well as being a part of the faculty, you will also play a full role in the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school.
