Bede's Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Travel Coordinator to join our Transport Team, and work alongside our Summer School Team.

In this role, you will administrate transport provisions, providing a safe and compliant service whilst quality and performance targets are achieved. You will help to organise the internal pupil transport service, which includes writing the schedule, route planning, ensuring driver resource is planned, and booking outside coach companies. You will also provide vehicle fleet management administration in areas such as taxation, insurance, fuel, maintenance, telematics, vehicle hire, licensing and compliance. 

As the Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for the booking, organising and liaising of transfer bookings for our boarding pupils. You will need to ensure the transfers are correctly timed against flight information, and schedule clear taxi collection times, with clear locations for departures/arrivals. You will need to agree a clear transport plan for each school holiday break with the transport manager, and in accordance with the school timetable. This will then need to be shared via email to the parents, guardians and pupils, with clear submission deadlines and processes explained well ahead of the holidays. 

During Summer School, you will be assisting with the coordination, review and booking of Transport for all our centres operations by liaising closely with the Transfer Team. You will be pre-booking and pro-actively reviewing transport requirements for all off-site activities, academies, excursions, and airport transfers, using the most efficient and cost effective means of transport, in accordance to anticipated number of pupils, liaising with the Director and Assistant Director of Summer School. 

This is a Full Time, Permanent position, working Monday-Friday 8:00 - 16:30, 52 weeks per year.

Salary: £27,009.56 per annum.
