Assistant Head: Behaviour and Values

Bede's Trust requires an experienced and innovative individual to join us as our new Assistant Head: Behaviour and Values at our Prep School in Eastbourne.

We celebrate the importance of each child under our care being given the opportunity to enjoy a vibrant learning experience; we seek to develop a kind-hearted community in which we enhance the lives of those around us. The staff within the school are key to making this happen and to allowing pupils to find joy in their pursuit of brilliance.

The successful candidate will oversee the quality of pupils' personal development, behaviour and values across the school, alongside the provision for safeguarding, to ensure the strongest possible outcomes for pupils. You will lead, monitor and develop the school's approach to behaviour, embodying its values, and actively promoting a culture of excellent behaviour and safety in the school. Within this role, you will be working closely with the Assistant Director of Safeguarding and DSL's to oversee pastoral life of the school, becoming one of the lead DSL's for the Prep School. 

Strong knowledge on the Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines, and previous experience with ISI Inspections would be highly beneficial to this role.

This is a Full Time, Permanent position.
