Bede's Trust requires a proactive and positive individual to join us as a Deputy Head of Nursery at our Prep School in Eastbourne.

Reporting to the Head of Nursery, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running in the absence of the Head of Nursery, working in collaboration with other members of the Nursery and the Pre-Prep team. They will organise, support and lead staff to work collaboratively, maintaining high professional standards. They will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead for the Nursery.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who will play a key role in ensuring that the quality of care throughout the Nursery is outstanding through efficient structures, systems and recording including outstanding practice. We’re looking for someone who already has experience in this field of work & has a clear understanding of the EYFS framework.

This is a Full Time position, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. This is a 1 year fixed term contract, with the view for this to be extended. 

Salary: £31,000 - £34,000 per annum depending on experience.
