Nursery Key Worker (Maternity Cover, 4 Days Per Week)

Bede's requires a dedicated & passionate individual to join our Nursery team as a Nursery Key Worker to cover Maternity Leave, located next to our Prep School, in Eastbourne.

We are a vibrant, inclusive co-educational nursery & school covering age ranges from 3 months to 19 years.

Reporting to our Room Leaders, we are looking for someone to provide an outstanding educational and pastoral experience to allow pupils to flourish within Bede’s Nursery. To deliver activities and provide pastoral care, which are of the highest quality, maximising pupils’ learning and wellbeing. To deliver planned sessions that are enjoyable and to ensure that the EYFS Curriculum is delivered effectively.

Most of all, we’re seeking someone who has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with colleagues, children and parents, whether verbally or in writing, an understanding of the need for confidentiality and to have the knowledge of the importance of Safeguarding. An EYFS Level 3 Qualification is essential for this position.

This is a Fixed-Term contract covering Maternity and the working hours available are:

  •  07:45am - 6.00pm including a 45 minute unpaid break worked 4 days per week, 51 weeks per year   

Salary: £11.32 per hour
