Over recent years Bede’s has developed significant expertise in visa and immigration regulations and we are happy to assist families who encounter any issues during the visa application or renewal process.
Our Visa & Immigration Compliance Manager will complete the Certificate of Acceptance to Study (CAS) up to six months prior to a pupil’s course start date, once all the relevant pre-CAS checks have been completed and required documents have been received. This will enable all pupils who require a visa to apply for their Child Student Visa.
We offer pupils help and information with visa and passport renewal once they have joined the School. Our Visa & Immigration Compliance Manager can assist with visa renewals as required. Please note that this service is chargeable, if any offsite appointments are required.

Bede’s offers its international pupils the services of a Travel Coordinator who organises start and end of term transfer bookings directly with pupils at Bede’s and families living overseas.
The Travel Coordinator can assist full boarding pupils with booking transfers to and from all major transport hubs such as airports, train stations and ports. The service ensures that pupils are departing and arriving at Bedes in good time in line with the start and end of school terms. We also offer travel to and from private addresses such as a family member or guardian’s home.
School minibuses are used wherever possible otherwise we operate with a number of school-approved and safeguard trained local chauffeur firms that are registered with the local council.
Booking forms for transfers are usually emailed 4 weeks prior to start and end of terms and are completed electronically. International Boarders on long haul flights can arrive at school at specified times on the day before the start of term ready for school the following day. Once pupils arrive they are met by our on-call staff in the boarding house. Transfer costs can also be added to pupil's termly fee invoice.

Bede's Senior School requires that parents of children who are currently living outside the UK appoint a guardian who can oversee their child while he or she is in the country.
Guardians may attend parents’ evenings, attend school functions and be available for pupils if they are unwell and need to spend a period of time away from school at short notice. Additionally, pupils can stay with their guardian during certain holidays such as half-term as an alternative to travelling home.
Responsible guardianship services can be found through AEGIS, the Association for the Education and Guardianship of International Pupils.
Guardians and host families cannot, even for temporary periods, be appointed or arranged by the School.
