Senior School Entry

Attending an Open Morning or booking a private tour is the perfect way to feel the energy of our campus. Meet our teachers, explore our 100-acre Sussex countryside grounds, and see our world-class facilities in action.

If you book a private tour you will be shown round by the Registrar or Director of Admissions or one of our students.  You will also have the opportunity to meet with a member of the Senior Management Team or specialist staff such as sports coaches or one of the SEN team.  If sport is of particular interest we can also try to arrange a taster coaching session so please let us know in advance if this is the case.  

If you prefer to attend one of our Open Mornings, you will be shown round by one of our students and there will be talks which cover the academic programme, Sixth Form and sports as well as speeches by the Headmaster and our students. 

When you are ready, create an account on our secure online admissions portal. You will need to upload a copy of your child's passport, a recent photo, and their latest school report, alongside a non-refundable registration fee.

For Year 7, 8 and 9 entry, applicants are invited to a 'Bede’s Experience (BE) Day'. Rather than intense exam rooms, children join small groups to take part in dynamic team tasks, casual group discussions, an individual chat, and a computer-based assessment. For Sixth Form entry, a formal interview with senior staff and a review of predicted GCSE grades are required.

We typically write to families within two weeks of their assessment day. Offers for Year 9 are unconditional, giving you absolute peace of mind for the final years of prep school, while Sixth Form offers are conditional on GCSE outcomes.
