Senior School or Upper School
Your child could join either our Upper School or Year 7 & 8 at our Senior School
Year 7 and 8 at Bede's Senior School
From September 2027, Bede's Senior School will introduce a new purpose-built centre for children in Years 7 & 8 at its Upper Dicker campus. It will run alongside the established provision at Bede’s Prep School in Eastbourne. The cornerstone of this new development is the construction of a brand-new purpose built facility which will be a true “school within a school”. Pupils will benefit from enhanced access to the Senior School’s outstanding facilities, including the extensive sports centre, arts and DT rooms, dance and drama spaces, and music rooms. In addition, pupils will benefit from being taught by subject specialists from across the Senior School academic faculties.
Upper School:
From September 2027, Bede's is extending the Eastbourne provision to Year 11, creating a seamless, boutique educational pathway through to GCSE - offering a high-impact academic experience within the nurturing “village” atmosphere that our community values so highly. Our new model is designed to offer choice, flexibility and value. Whether your child is a budding scientist, has a creative spirit or is a future entrepreneur, our “Step Up” curriculum in Year 9 and hybrid GCSE/BTEC model in Years 10 and 11 ensure that pupils are not just “exam-ready” but “life-ready”.
