Admissions Process
Pupils wishing to join Bede’s for the Sixth Form attend a formal interview with a member of our senior staff and a member of our Sixth Form Team.
Before the interview, we will have been in contact with the pupil’s current school for references, reports and GCSE predications.
Offers are conditional on pupils gaining six GCSEs at Level 6 and above, to be accepted on an A Level programme. (Please note, around one third of subjects require Level 7 or above at GCSE to be accepted on to the course).
Pupils applying to join our BTEC programme require five GCSEs at Level 4 or above.
Our Sixth Form Team will be available on GCSE results day to confirm results.
