At Bede’s, every child finds joy in their pursuit of brilliance. For this reason, our Co-Curricular programme is unlike any other.
Here at Bede’s Prep, we believe that fostering an inquisitive mindset goes hand in hand with a truly enriching educational experience.
Our co-curricular programme runs at the end of the school day, with children from Year 3 to Year 8 discovering new passions and developing new talents.
The programme provides a festival of opportunity, varies each term and is shaped, in part, by suggestions made by the pupils. Our pupils sample and excel in a range of activities including but not limited to art, ballet, woodwork, chess, AI club, STEM club, craft, cricket, football, basketball, hockey, badminton, lego clinic, musical theatre, school productions, swimming, water polo, Mandarin, Japanese, orchestra, climbing, Advanced Core subject lessons, Drama Masterclass and fitness amongst others.
Pupils make independent choices and decisions about their participation, become involved in the organisation, management and leadership of activities and take part in activities for myriad reasons - recreational, competitive and educational.
Furthermore our specialist staff help Bede’s pupils to develop extraordinary expertise in a range of specific activities.
Whether that means playing sports, dancing or discovering a new hobby, during their Co-Curricular hours at Bede’s Prep, we want pupils to see the whole world as a classroom and to pursue their individual best.
