It has been a great couple of weeks on the courts for Bede’s, with our tennis stars delivering outstanding performances at the Sussex Schools County Championships.

In a brilliant display of consistency and talent, both our U18 Boys and U18 Girls teams have been crowned Sussex Schools County Champions.

Facing off against the toughest competition in the county, our senior players demonstrated why Bede’s remains a powerhouse of school tennis. Their tactical play and composure under pressure ensured a clean sweep in the U18 category - a testament to their hard work and the dedicated coaching programme here at the school.

Our U11 Boys also emerged victorious in an incredibly hard-fought tournament, officially claiming the title of County Champions.

Navigating a highly competitive field of over 13 schools, the boys ability to stay focused throughout a long day of matches was truly impressive, and we are incredibly proud of their well-deserved gold medals.

Our U11 Girls put on a display of "brilliant spirit and tenacity" to secure the Runners-Up spot.

Competing against 11 other schools, the girls fought brilliantly, ultimately earning their silver medals tenacity and teamwork. Their performance highlights the incredible depth of talent within our junior tennis programme.
