We are delighted to announce that Bede’s has adopted the Boarding Schools’ Association Covid-Safe Charter.
By adopting the Charter, Bede’s demonstrates its commitment to ensuring that a range of measures are in place which will allow the school to reopen safely in September. These include cleaning, testing, staff training, the provision of effective communications with staff, pupils and parents as well as a range of measures which ensure that good practice in relation to hand hygiene, the wearing of masks when appropriate and social distancing, are in place within the School.
Bede’s Headmaster Mr Peter Goodyer commented, “We are committed to ensuring that all of our pupils can return to school safely in September and the BSA’s Covid-Safe Charter is an important way of giving parents, pupils and staff the confidence that we are following the guidance to ensure that our boarding houses, and the School more broadly, will be a safe environment.”
