Co-Curricular: Eco Bede's Team Plants an Orchard

We are very proud to announce that Bede's now has its very own wild orchard! Admittedly, the trees are currently only nine inches high, but from small beginnings....
Our new orchard comprises thirty birch, rowan and cherry trees and we had tremendous fun planting them at the end of November. We hope that in future years, the wild orchard will provide a haven for wildlife and help to boost bio-diversity on campus. We also hope to develop several more wild areas across the school in the coming months.
