Section System

All pupils and staff at Bede’s Prep belong to a “Section” – our equivalent to a House. Children from the same family will belong to the same Section of which there are four: Hawk, Eagle, Raven and Falcon.

Throughout the year, children are engaged in a number of activities through which they can gain points for their Section in ultimate pursuit of the coveted Section Cup which is awarded in the final assembly of the year.  As well as the popular Section Music event in the Autumn Term, the Sections also compete in a range of sports as well as other competitions.

Section points act as a positive reward system which recognises not only achievements but also acts of kindness and provides a way of reinforcing positive behaviours and value which all children bring to the School.
