Looking after our wellbeing is always important, and now so more than ever. At the start of this term, Mrs Hammond introduced a Wellbeing Wednesday programme of activities to help children and their families during the lockdown.

This week marked the start of remote learning owing to the UK lockdown. I am delighted to report that pupils, parents and staff have taken on the challenge with fantastic enthusiasm. Here is a small snapshot of what we have been up to.
We received lots of fantastic entries for our FOBP Baking Competition, including a delicious Christmas pavlova, cupcakes, brownies and plenty of iced biscuits.
Pupils have been busy getting practical with a range of fun, Christmas-themed experiments in Science lessons (both on site and remotely).
Bede's Prep pupils, families and staff have been getting into the festive spirit by donating to a range of local charity Christmas appeals.
In exciting news, our Eco Committee met for the first time last week to put plans in place to secure our Eco Schools Green Flag status.

On Tuesday 1 December, our Pre-School children in Holywell got a lovely surprise - The Polar Express had arrived with a day of fun activities in store!
After watching Ralph the Gardener at Bede’s Prep on Netflix’s ‘The Big Flower Fight’, pupils in Year 6 were inspired to create their own giant living sculpture.
