Support Sports

Whether designed to complement our many sport options or act as a stand-alone activity, our non-competitive fitness programme encourages pupils to maintain a healthy lifestyle regardless of their other sporting interests.

When suitable, we often offer pre-season training for our sports teams which has multiple benefits including skill mastery, fitness-building as well as fun and camaraderie. During August, pre-season training is offered to boys for football and girls for Hockey; in January training is offered for girls in Football/Netball and boys in Hockey and finally over Easter training runs for Cricket and Tennis.

At the Prep School, we have an extensive after-school Activity Programme, which offers the chance to develop Core Sports even further whilst also offering the chance to experience other sports such as Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Climbing, Strength and Conditioning and water sports such as Paddle Boarding. We also offer Sport for All on Wednesdays for those not involved in competitive fixtures that includes multisports, strength & conditioning coaching and swimming.

Games sessions run for different age groups across the academic timetable and offer opportunities for pupils to try a range of different sports with expert coaches. Additional clubs run during the after-school Activities Programme.
