Spanning Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology, we provide a rigorous, interconnected framework that prepares pupils for the challenges of the 21st-century scientific landscape.
We offer a seamless progression that builds confidence and technical expertise across the following disciplines:
- Mathematics & Further Maths: The "language of the universe," where we push pupils toward abstract reasoning and sophisticated modeling, often leading to top-tier university placements.

The Galactic Challenge:
A prominent space-themed engineering competition hosted at Bede’s, where students work in "companies" to design future space colonies, mirroring the industry’s collaborative nature.
Maths Challenges & Olympiads:
Pupils regularly compete in the UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT) challenges, with many progressing to the British Mathematical Olympiad.
Science Societies:
Dedicated clubs like the Medical Minded society support aspiring doctors and vets, while the Physics Society explores advanced topics like quantum mechanics and astrophysics.
Zoo Management:
Uniquely, Bede's features its own School Zoo, allowing pupils to gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry and conservation, often linked to Biology and Psychology studies.
