At GCSE, studies focus on atomic structure, the periodic table, and chemical bonding. You'll explore quantitative chemistry, organic compounds (like crude oil), and the rate of chemical change. Triple students dive deeper into titrations and chemical analysis.

At A level, the curriculum splits into three pillars:

• Physical: Thermodynamics, Kc and Kp equilibria, and electrode potentials.
• Inorganic: Periodicity and transition metal chemistry.
• Organic: Mechanisms, polymers, and NMR spectroscopy.
