The School Golf Programme at Bede's
World-Class Coaching at East Sussex National
At the heart of our provision is our regular, high-level training schedule. Three times a week, our students head to the prestigious East Sussex National Golf Club for dedicated coaching sessions. Working directly with a resident Professional, players receive expert guidance tailored to their individual needs. From mastering the mechanics of the swing to developing sharp course management and mental resilience, these sessions ensure every student builds a robust technical foundation.
Competing at the Highest Level
We believe that competition is a powerful catalyst for growth. Our teams regularly test their skills in local and national tournaments, proudly representing the school on wider stages. We are active participants in competitions run by the Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA), Swifts, as well as numerous other premier school golf circuits. These events give our students invaluable experience under pressure, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and camaraderie.
Pathways to Elite Performance
For students wishing to take their game to a higher level, we provide a clear and supportive pathway. Participants have the unique opportunity to become full members at East Sussex National, granting them extensive access to championship facilities. Alongside this membership, we offer targeted additional support, mentoring, and advanced training for high-performing juniors who have their sights set on county, national, or collegiate golf.

The journey doesn't stop at our local course. Our calendar features exciting national and international golf trips that broaden horizons and create lifelong memories. From challenging courses across the UK to premier international destinations such as Portugal and Turkey, our tours combine intensive play, cultural exploration, and incredible team bonding experiences.
