Perfectly nestled in the idyllic Sussex countryside - yet just a stone's throw from London and Brighton - our weekends are carefully designed to help pupils unwind, discover lifelong passions and make memories that stick with them forever.

Friday Nights - Social & Vibrant
Friday nights are all about hanging out with friends and shifting into holiday mode. Pupils frequently head off-campus with staff for fun dinners at local restaurants, trips to the cinema, bowling alleys, or the local indoor climbing wall. Back on campus, Friday nights also play host to massive, unforgettable events like House Music, Cabaret, and the legendary Colour Run!
Saturdays - Activities & Social Events
Saturday Mornings:
Mornings are a chance to get involved in a wide range of activities. Pupils can take part in sports fixtures and training sessions, creative workshops such as fashion illustration, animation and ceramics, or use the time for private study and academic enrichment. You can even spend your morning volunteering at our unique school zoo, caring for lemurs, binturongs and kinkajous!
Saturday afternoons:
Afternoons are more relaxed. Many pupils spend time with friends in their boarding houses or head into Eastbourne to browse the shops, grab a coffee and enjoy some free time.
Saturday evenings:
Evenings bring the school community together. Boarding houses take turns hosting social events, from house quizzes and delicious curry nights to Eurovision watch parties and the ever-popular musical game, "Bongo Bingo"!
Sundays - Adventures & Winding Down
Sundays:
Sundays are often spent getting out and exploring. Our fleet of school minibuses head across the South East, giving pupils the chance to experience fantastic day trips.
Capital Culture & Thrills:
Pupils head to London to see the Christmas lights in Covent Garden, celebrate Chinese New Year in Soho, or shop at the newly transformed Battersea Power Station. For thrill-seekers, day trips to theme parks like Thorpe Park and Chessington World of Adventures guarantee high-speed fun.
Shopping, Theatre & Stadiums:
We run trips to major outlets like Gunwharf Quays and the Bluewater Centre, alongside world-class West End theatre excursions to see hits like Stranger Things. Sports fans can even catch live matches at Hove’s County Cricket ground or iconic national venues like Wembley and Twickenham.
By Sunday evening, everyone gathers back in their houses for a peaceful night of prep and relaxation, feeling completely refreshed, inspired, and ready to tackle the school week ahead!
