Pupils have been busy getting practical with a range of fun, Christmas-themed experiments in Science lessons (both on site and remotely).
Year 7 are studying solubility and separation, chromatography enables you to separate the different coloured pigments in inks. The children used this idea to design their own colourful set of Christmas baubles.
Equally as exciting was the Year 6 electricity challenge of creating a flashing Christmas jumper with two parallel lights for our Headmaster, Mr Hammond. I am not sure how it will survive the washing machine, however!
